Joe Ferreira · Real estate broker · Massachusetts
A home is the biggest thing most of us ever sign for.
I’ve signed for a few of my own since 2002, and I still remember how quiet the room gets right before you do it. That’s the part I try to make easier — being someone who tells you the truth, picks up when you call, and doesn’t push you toward a decision you’re not ready to make.

Nothing of mine is on the market this minute. The search below covers every property listed in Massachusetts — not just mine — so start there, or tell me what you’re after and I’ll keep an eye out for it.

Take your time
Everything on the market, updated through the day. There’s no form to fill out first and nobody is going to call you. When you want a second opinion on something, I’m here.

Sometimes a search starts in one town and ends three counties away. Wherever yours goes, you’ll still be working with me.
About Joe
Why I do this
I came to this work because of what a house actually is. Not the square footage — the fact that it’s where somebody’s life happens. The first one. The last one. The one you buy after something hard.
I bought my first property in 2002, with my own money and a fair amount of fear. I’ve made a decision I regretted and I learned what it cost me. So when I tell you to slow down, or that a price is wrong, it isn’t a negotiating tactic. It’s what I’d want somebody to tell me.
A lot of my clients are buying their first home in a country they weren’t born in. Some are more comfortable in Portuguese than in English, and I’m glad to be the person who can sit at that table and explain the whole thing twice if twice is what it takes.
You’ll always be talking to me — not an assistant, not somebody else on a team. Call, text, or email, and you’ll hear back.

Buying my own places since 2002 — including the one I got wrong.
No handoff partway through, and no waiting while I check with someone.
Whichever one lets you ask the question you actually want to ask.
What I help with
Whatever stage you’re at
The same person handles all of it, whether this is your first place or your fifth building.
Condos, single-families, multi-families, anywhere in the state. Most of my work, and the part I like best.
Sales, leasing, and residential rentals. Priced to hold up rather than to look good on paper.
I’ve run these numbers on my own deals since 2002. Multi-family, development land, portfolio growth.
Negotiation, inspections, lender coordination. The parts where it helps to have someone who’s done it before.
Monthly payment
See what it would actually cost
Move the numbers around as much as you like. Better to find this out here, privately, than in the middle of something.
When you want the whole picture — taxes, insurance, what the town does to your bill — just ask.
